Our pilot drills are Solid Carbide which lends itself to longer tool life. Most companies supply these drills in HSShigh speed steel which is a less expensive option but doesn’t last nearly as long. These drills are typically paired with a drill adapter for the respective shank diameter of the drills chosen.
