Apollo Expansion PEX Couplings are manufactured using lead free dezincification resistant brass. Exclusively designed for use with PEX-a pipe, the fittings offer a larger I.D. than traditional crimp fittings for full flow resulting in fast delivery of potable water. For use with PEX-a pipe only. Suitable for use in hot and cold domestic potable water and hydronic heating and cooling piping systems. Compatible with Uponor (Wirsbo) ProPEX piping systems. • Larger internal diameter of Apollo expansion PEX fittings results in a 25% greater flow rate within the system • Meets or exceeds ASTM F1960 standard • Meets UPC, IPC and cUPC standard requirements • To ensure secure connections every time, fittings cannot be dry fit • Cold-expansion tool (sold separately) is required for installation • Go/no-go gauges are never required
