This Keyed Window Sash Lock by Prime-Line Products is constructed of diecast materials and comes in a corrosion-resistant, white painted finish. It is designed for use on all types of aluminum, vinyl and wood sliding windows, where increased security and tamper-resistant locking is desired (both horizontal and vertical sliding). The cam-action lock helps hold the window securely closed, and with a universal design it will work on windows by various manufacturers. Mounting holes are 2-5/16 in. on center with a 11/16 in. hole offset. They feature alignment lugs with cam-action fastening, and only with the provided keys can the be unlocked. For use on vertical and horizontal sliding windows (single hung, double hung and sliders).
